Ch-ch-changes!!

As you may be aware, there has been a lot of excitement brewing around TCC over

the past while. Our goal has been to ensure we generate enough revenue to keep our centre

structurally sound, make it a clean & inviting gathering place, & most importantly to create

lots of programs & fun events for our families, friends & neighbours.

Take a look at us now! Here’s what has been done to improve TCC

• Major clean up of interior

• kitchen updated, pots pans etc replenished.

• a new coat of white paint, baseboards replaced

• new bar countertop

• landscaping in front of building

• round tables & chairs purchased to meet the needs of our guests and renters.

• a brand new sign has been erected on Concession 7 to replace the one that was run down

by a careless driver.

Up and Coming!

In a few months, thanks to the Municipality, we will be updated with some badly needed ceiling

tiles, lights & fans to replace the original ones from the 1970s. We also need to buy 5 new card

tables to meet the needs of the growing number of seniors coming out to card nights.

T Y R O N E missing! Unfortunately, the metal letters on the front of our hall have

been taken. A great deal of time has been spent sourcing out quotes to have them replaced. The cost

will be a will be at LEAST $1,000 + the kicker is that we may not even be able to match the type

place exactly! Best thing would be if they could be returned a.s.a.p. Perhaps they could be left

discreetly against the wall underneath the rest of the sign.

Fantastic events going on at TCC

• Monthly 30+ dances have been running since the spring, & are really warming up!.

These dances are fund raisers to keep oil in the tank & lights on. They are a real blast with

great music. Only $8 and includes late night snack. Volunteers needed for jobs such as setting

up tables, preparing sandwiches, & closing down after dances. For more info or to help out in

• Senior s Gathering with Pot luck Dinner –

1st Wed of month. Lunch at 12:00 – 1:00,

meeting after, then cards or entertainment for the next 2 hours. All seniors welcome.

• Hall Rentals

Bookings for all events can be arranged with Lynne 263 – 2405.

• TCC meetings

We meet every 3^rd wed at 7:00 to discuss hall matters. If you have any

ideas comments, questions or events you’d like to discuss, come on out. Everyone welcome.

Lots of ideas not enough hands!

There are SO many events we’d love to do with the community here at the hall. Events such

as movie nights, a winter family games day, snow ball games, karaoke night, music venues +

of course Spirit Day, but we are short of help. If you like any of these ideas, or have some of

your own, & would like to help out or even better, head up event that head one up, that would

Spring Clean up at Tyrone park today! Bring you rakes, shovels and garden gloves . Garbage’s been picked up, just need to rake out along fence line, refresh gardens and make sure play area is safe for the kids (rake out sand).
